Eagle's Nest Ranch

MISSION STATEMENT

Eagle’s Nest Ranch is a safe haven for people and horses to connect in order to renew hope, build trust and experience growth, so they may soar above the adversities of life in order to fulfill the purpose for which they were created. This is to be achieved through love, acceptance, training, education and recreational activities.

PURPOSE

Founded in 2014,  Eagle’s Nest Ranch is a 501c3 non-profit located in Elizabeth, Colorado, whose purpose is to bring hope, trust and growth into the lives of those who come to the Ranch. We serve adults and children who have experienced or who are experiencing the invisible wounds of life. Our desire is to help our participants soar above adversity through interaction with horses. Our Healing Horses for the Armed Forces program serves the military community as well as first responders and their families.  Our Soaring program serves all others. We provide one-on-one interactive sessions with a horse. All our sessions are offered free of charge, so we rely on the generosity of others who see the value of our purpose and want to partner with us in helping people soar above the adversities of life.

about the founder

Eagle’s Nest Ranch was founded by Suzy Stanfill who was inspired to model a ranch ministry after Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Oregon.  After the reading the book Hope Rising by Kim Meeder, she went to Crystal Peaks in 2008 to their information clinic to see if this would be God’s call on her life. She left knowing establishing a similar ranch was her next purpose. The name Eagle’s Nest Ranch came easily. A bald eagle was nesting at a property her church was considering for purchase. The new shopping center being constructed across the street was called Eagle’s Nest Village.

how you can help

 Here are some suggestions:

  • Support the Ranch – Any amount given, $5-$1,000, helps feed the horses, cover vet and costs of care, and contributes to Ranch upkeep and maintenance. These gifts also make it possible to provide for our staff and their salary.
  • Sponsor a Child/Family – You can help cover the Ranch expenses by sponsoring a child/family for four sessions a month at the cost of $260.
  • Sponsor a Horse – It costs approximately $225 a month to care for one of the horses.  You can also contribute to the care of our horses at $50, $75 or $100 a month.
  • Sponsor a Service Member – You can help cover the Ranch expenses by sponsoring a service member for four sessions a month at the cost of $260.
  • Sponsor a Day at the Ranch $150 – by celebrating a birthday, graduation or anniversary of someone special.  We will post your celebratory words and picture on our facebook ranch page on the day of your choosing.
  • Give in Honor of Service Member – Make a $250 donation in honor of a service member dear to you.  We will post their picture and your words about their service to our country on our ranch Facebook page on the day of your choosing.
